Mr. Marcos Olmedo
Mr. Marcos Olmedo is the Finance and Planning Manager for Angola LNG operating company (ALNG OPCO). Marcos has held leadership roles in Finance with Chevron in the US, Angola, Bangladesh, and in the UK. He is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University – Tepper School of Business (MBA) and Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (Industrial and Electronics Engineering). Mr. Olmedo currently serves as the Chair of the LIS Board of Directors.
Mr. Robert Pariagh
Mr. Robert Pariagh is the Planning and Commercial Manager for BP Angola. Since 2003, Mr. Pariagh has held positions with BP in Trinidad and Tobago, the USA, and Angola. Prior to this, Mr. Pariagh worked in cash management and investment banking for 8 years, with Citibank and the Royal Bank in Trinidad and Tobago. He has an MBA in Finance from Arthur Lok Jack School of Business and a B.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of the West Indies. Mr. Pariagh is the Treasurer of the LIS Board of Directors.
Mr. Kurt Parker
Mr. Kurt Parker is the Account Director at Schlumberger in Angola. After graduating from Tulane University with a B.S. in Environmental Engineering, Mr. Parker embarked on a career with Schlumberger. Over the past 20 years, he has advanced Schlumberger’s interests in Angola, France, the USA, Algeria, Equatorial Guinea, Tunisia, and Scotland. Mr. Parker is the Secretary of the LIS Board of Directors.
Ms. Marialice Burford de Castillo
Ms. Marialice Burford de Castillo is a Management Officer at the U.S. Embassy in Luanda, Angola. Ms. Burford de Castillo began her career with the State Department in 1989 as a local hire with the U.S. Embassy in Pohnpei, the Federated States of Micronesia. After becoming a Foreign Service Officer, Ms. Burford de Castillo was posted twice to Mexico and also to Pakistan, Iraq, Afghanistan and, presently, Angola. Ms. Burford de Castillo graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in journalism. Ms. Burford de Castillo is a Member of the LIS Board of Directors.
Mr. Thor Johan Haave
Mr. Thor Johan Haave is the Vice President Asset Management at Statoil Angola. With 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, he has held key positions, such as Asset Manager, Platform Manager (Offshore Installation Manager), and Finance & Control Manager. Mr. Haave has worked for Statoil in Angola, Egypt, and Azerbaijan.
Mrs. Andreia Prata e Queiroz
Mrs. Andreia Prata e Queiroz is the Area Procurement Manager at Esso Angola. She has worked for ExxonMobil since 2006 in Angola and the USA. She earned a B.S. in Business Administration – Accounting and Finance from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. An alumni of the American International School of Johannesburg, Mrs. Prata e Queiroz is a Member of the LIS Board of Directors.
Ms. Renata Lemos
Ms. Renata Lemos is an attorney with Odebrecht in Angola. Ms. Lemos is a Member of the LIS Board of Directors.
Mr. Mike Williams
Mr. Mike Williams is the Business Development Manager at Halliburton. Mr. Williams has worked for Halliburton since 2002, in the United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Qatar, Southeast Asia, Kazakhstan, and, presently, Angola. He was educated at Southdowns College (Mechanical Engineering). Mr. Williams is a Member of the LIS Board of Directors.
