Jogathon 2025: Every Step Counts
This year’s Jogathon brought the LIS community together in action and purpose. Organized by our Year 12 and 13 CAS students, the Solidarity Run highlighted how collective effort and movement can create a meaningful impact.
In collaboration with CCA Animal Allies, students led a schoolwide campaign to collect donations and essential supplies for several animal shelters, including Casa dos Animais, Angofauna and Oraa, helping improve the well-being and living conditions of animals in need. Their commitment extended far beyond the race track, showing empathy in action and inspiring younger students to get involved.
All funds raised through sponsorships will help sustain CAS projects in Buraco Village, Mussulo, furthering the school’s dedication to meaningful service.
Throughout the event, students, teachers and parents ran and walked around the campus with energy and enthusiasm. Every lap completed represented a valuable contribution, turning each step into real support for those in need.
The success of this year’s Jogathon reflects what the CAS program truly stands for — learning through service, taking initiative, and making a difference, one step at a time.
