Precision, Performance, and Praise at the LIS Invitational Swim Meet
The biannual LIS Invitational Swim Meet was a resounding success, with many clubs offering sincere words of praise for our organization, hospitality, and facility upgrades that allowed everyone a place of comfort to view the races.
We successfully launched the automatic timing system and used it for times in the second half of the competition without interruption. Most importantly, we ran the competition exactly to time, something everyone appreciated!
LIS swimmers are to be commended on their strong second place finish and now look forward to taking their strokes to the American International School of Johannesburg (AISJ) next week from 3-7 December to compete in the Southern Africa International Schools Association (SAISA) event.
