LIS Celebrates the Class of 2026

A formal ceremony marked the completion of the academic journey of the Class of 2026 at LIS, bringing the community together for an evening of reflection and celebration. The atmosphere was filled with emotion, pride, and a strong sense of belonging among the students as they reached the end of an important chapter.

The programme included several meaningful moments that captured the journey of the graduating class, including a presentation of a digital scrapbook that revisited key memories and milestones from their time at LIS. In a segment dedicated to service, students delivered remarks reflecting on their involvement in community initiatives and the impact of learning beyond the classroom. The ceremony also featured a farewell tribute from former teachers, who shared video messages congratulating the graduates and wishing them success in the next stage of their lives.

This exceptional cohort made school history by having not one, but two Valedictorians, reflecting their dedication, excellence, and commitment to their studies.

The graduating class of 27 students now moves on to a new chapter beyond LIS, carrying with them the experiences, learning, and values developed during their time at the school.

The event was attended by families, friends, staff, and special guests, including His Excellency the Ambassador of South Africa, Mr Christiaan Kriek, who joined the community in honouring the graduates on this significant occasion.

We extend our congratulations to the Class of 2026 and wish them every success in their future endeavours. Once a Lion, always a Lion.
