Mrs. Andreia Prata e Queiroz

Mrs. Andreia Prata e Queiroz is the Area Procurement Manager at Esso Angola. She has worked for ExxonMobil since 2006 in Angola and the USA. She earned a B.S. in Business Administration – Accounting and Finance from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Mrs. Prata e Queiroz is an alumni of the American International School of Johannesburg.

Mr. David Love

Mr. David Love, is the Finance & Planning Manager for ALNG – OPCO located in Luanda. David began as Treasurer of the Board in August 2018. He holds two degrees in petroleum engineering, a BS from the University of Alabama and an MS from the University of Texas at Austin, as well as an MBA in Finance/Strategy from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University. During his 20+ year professional career, David has worked in the US, Angola, Ghana, China, and Nigeria. David and his wife have one child here at LIS and two sons in college in the US.

Mr. Greg Segas

Mr. Greg Segas is the Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy in Luanda. He joined the Foreign Service in 1999, and has also served in Brazil, Mexico, Honduras, Azerbaijan, Colombia, Libya, and Washington, D.C. A Native of norther California, he previously worked in restaurants and the wine industry. Mr. Segas holds a Master of Strategic Studies degree from the Air War College, an MA in Geography from the University of Washington, and a BS in Foreign Service from Georgetown University. He speaks Portuguese and Spanish. His wife and two children join him in Luanda.

Mr. Adriano Bastos

Mr. Adriano Bastos is the Senior Vice President of BP Angola. He holds a degree in electrical engineering and after serving two years in the Engineering Corps of the Brazilian Navy he commenced a now 30+ year career in the Oil & Gas sector. Mr. Bastos has worked throughout Europe, Africa, North America and South America with Halliburton, Schlumberger, and GE Oil & Gas before joining BP in 2017 as Brazil President for Exploration & Production. Mr Bastos moved to Angola in 2020 as BP Senior Vice President. Mr. Bastos has previously served on the Board of Directors for ABESPETRO (Associação Brasileira da Empresas Prestadoras de Serviço de Petróleo) and AMCHAM-RJ (American Chamber of Commerce do Rio de Janeiro).

Mr. Custódio Cunha

Mr. Custódio Cunha works for Schlumberger as the Field Development and Engagement Manager in Angola, Central and East Africa. After graduating from Camaguey University in Cuba with a degree in Civil Engineering, Mr. Cunha worked for an NGO executing social constructions, building small schools and medical centers in regional communities. He joined Schlumberger in 1999 as a Drilling Engineer and has since spent 20+ years with the company in various field and management roles predominantly in Angola, with some time spent abroad in the UK. Mr Cunha and his wife currently live in Luanda with their three children, all who are attending LIS.

Mr. Jorge Peres

Mr. Jorge Peres is the Human Resources Manager for Halliburton Angola.

Ms. Emanuela Saturnino De Oliveira

Ms. Emanuela Saturnino De Oliveira is the Human Resources Manager for Eni Angola.
