Our EY unit was “Sharing The Planet” where students were learning about Living Things and what they need to grow. The students planted watermelon seeds and they took care of the garden until it was harvest time. This gave students opportunities to learn about living things in more authentic ways. They have been enjoying the watermelons during snack time.
