LIS Lions Triumph at SAISA Football Tournament

In April, our athletes took part in the SAISA event held in Malawi, bringing together six schools for a competitive weekend of football, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Both the Girls’ and Boys’ teams delivered outstanding performances throughout the competition, finishing in first place in their respective categories and securing LIS as the overall winning school. The Girls’ team achieved a total of 15 points, while the Boys’ team finished with 12 points, demonstrating consistency and determination across all matches.

In the finals, both teams rose to the occasion. The Boys’ team secured a 2–1 victory against BMIS, claiming the title for the second consecutive year, while the Girls’ team achieved a 1–0 win against AISCT, bringing the competition to a close with strong and focused performances.

The event highlighted the spirit of collaboration and commitment displayed by all participating teams, making it a rewarding experience for everyone involved.
