LIS Organizes Annual Invitational Football Tournaments

Recently, five schools from across Luanda gathered at LIS for two days of competitive football, teamwork, and meaningful interaction through the Junior Varsity and Varsity divisions.

Throughout the event, athletes demonstrated determination, resilience, and sportsmanship across a range of competitive matches. Students had the opportunity to compete at a high level while strengthening connections through sport, with fair play and respect at the core of every game, reinforcing the idea that all participants are ultimately winners.

Schools taking part included Colégio São Francisco de Assis, Complexo Escolar Privado Caju, Escola Portuguesa de Luanda, Complexo Escolar Privado Internacional Maple Bear, and Colégio Angolano de Talatona.

At the conclusion of the matches, Colégio Angolano de Talatona secured the Junior Boys title, while Complexo Escolar Privado Internacional Maple Bear claimed the Junior Girls championship. Complexo Escolar Privado Caju finished as Senior Boys Champions, and LIS proudly celebrated a standout achievement as the Senior Girls team was crowned Champions after an impressive series of performances across the tournament.

The event reflected the collaboration and commitment shared by all teams, creating an engaging and positive atmosphere both on and off the field.
