Janco Dreyer

Graduate from 2019

‘I started studying in LIS in 2005 when I joined Prep 4 and finished my journey in 2019 when I graduated and became an alumni of LIS. To any student who just entered university life or those who are still doing the IB remember how it taught you or is teaching you to preserver through thick and thin and to keep your head high no matter what until the end as it is through perseverance and not giving up that got me through the loneliness and difficulties of my first year.’

"My time at LIS has shaped me into the person I am today. The great teachers I had have taught me skills and values that I still use today, and the friends I made gave me memories that I will treasure forever.”

Graduate from 2015

"I really enjoyed studying at LIS because it is a unique school in its effort to promote a true sense of community and cultural diversity. I met sensational people, teachers and students from the four corners of the world, and I will always have good memories of them for life. LIS is, for all international students, their home away from home.”

‘Being in the IB community and LIS has given me life skills that have helped me after school. ATL skills such as being organised and being a good communicator and collaborator have helped me in group work and with friends. It’s also given me the opportunity to meet amazing teachers and friends.’
