Mrs. Andreia Prata e Queiroz is the Planning Manager at ExxonMobil Angola. She has worked for ExxonMobil since 2006 in Angola and the USA. She earned a B.S. in Business Administration – Accounting and Finance from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Mrs. Prata e Queiroz is an alumni of the American International School of Johannesburg.
Treasurer & Chair of Finance Committee
Mr. Joshua Gernold, is the Manager of Financial Forecasting, Analysis and Reporting for Chevron’s Southern African business unit located in Luanda. Josh began as Treasurer of the Board in July 2022. He holds a degree in applied economics and management BS from the Cornell University and a MBA from the Johnson School of Management at Cornell University. During his 9-year career at Chevron, Josh has worked in the US, Angola, Kazakhstan and the United Kingdom. Prior to Chevron, Josh worked for 5 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Josh and his wife have two children here at LIS

Mrs. Liliana Rocha, representative of Halliburton, is a Human Resources professional with almost a decade of experience within the intricacies of people management. Liliana works in employee training and development within her organization, and believes human development is inherently linked to education by increasing the knowledge, skills, and capacities of all people in society.

Ms. Kari Cruz is a Population, Health, and Nutrition Foreign Service Officer with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). She joined the US Embassy in Angola in January 2023. Ms. Cruz has worked in public health for over 20 years in the United States and internationally in HIV/AIDs prevention, maternal and child health, youth development, chronic disease prevention, injury and violence prevention, and nutrition. She is a former US Peace Corps Volunteer who served in Cabo Verde. She currently lives in Luanda with her husband and two daughters who attend LIS.
Board Member & Chair of Facilities Committee
Mr. Joao Wolo Domingos is the Sales Manager for OneSubsea Angola. Since joining Schlumberger in 2005, Mr. Domingos has worked in several locations across Europe and Africa, and holds a degree in Civil Engineering with Structures from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland. Wolo and his wife live in Luanda and have a son attending LIS.

Mr. Michael Fidler is a financial and commercial professional with 25 years experience in the energy industry. He is currently the CFO of Azule Energy, the second largest independent oil and gas company in Sub Saharan Africa and the largest equity producer in Angola. He is a board member of several companies and has extensive experience in Joint Venture Management. Michael has two children who both attend LIS and he is passionate about the school and its mission.
