This Tuesday marked an extraordinary occasion as the KIMBO team orchestrated the inaugural Secondary Library Night of 2024. Students eagerly immersed themselves in the literary empire, guided by the expertise and passion of Ms. Catarina Peterson, a Primary Teacher who wears the dual hats of educator and writer. The evening unfolded literary delights, offering students a multifaceted exploration of the world of writers.
It was an interactive celebration of all things literary. Students had the opportunity to indulge in individual reading sessions, delving into books that piqued their interest. Conversations flourished as teachers joined in, sharing their own literary recommendations and engaging in spirited discussions about various works.
The atmosphere brimmed with creativity as students partook in various activities. From charades to crafting bookmarks. A highlight of the night was the creative writing competition, where they unleashed their imaginations upon blank pages. Guided by their passion for storytelling, students embarked on the creative process of crafting their own manga, blending words and visuals to bring their narratives to life.
The Secondary Library Night left an indelible mark on all who attended. Thanks to the KIMBO team and the unwavering passion of the teachers that helped them with the activities, the evening served as a testament to the transformative power of literature in shaping young minds.
