Last Friday, April 12, the Year 6 students put on an incredible show of talent and compassion at the PYPx Fundraiser, showcasing projects that aim to support the 1205 School in Ilha de Luanda. The evening was a vibrant mix of innovation and passion as students unveiled their creative projects and raised money to help the school.

From an emergency kit box to a creative arts club, the projects covered a wide range of initiatives designed to enrich the learning experience at School 1205. The students put in a year's worth of hard work to bring these ideas to life, aiming to provide resources inspired by the successful practices they observed in their own community.

The event was nothing short of magical. Live music from guest artists and the Year 6 choir, it was clear that the students' hard work had paid off as their performances captivated the audience. The Parent Association was in charge of providing delicious food, adding to the festive atmosphere.

One of the highlights of the evening was the live painting session, where artists created stunning works of art that were auctioned off silently. This added a unique and interactive touch to the event, helping the Year 6 students surpass their fundraising goal of 1.5 million kwanzas.

The community came together, engaging with the projects, asking questions, and providing insightful feedback. It was inspiring to see parents actively involved, helping students refine their projects.

Thanks to everyone's support, the students will be able to make a tangible difference for School 1205. Their efforts not only raised funds but also showcased their dedication to making a positive impact in the wider community.
